Clean accommodation and top-class staff at the reception desk. Delicious breakfast with a good variety of food, reasonably priced. - Perfect and lovely location close to the restaurant, town center, city centre, with beautiful views. Also conveniently near the Balor Theatre.

Good food in the restaurant
Entry into the carpark could be better. I am sure a few drivers have damaged their cars driving through the narrow entrance. Is there another entrance?? Restaurant could do with a slightly wider choice. Food was excellent though !! Breakfast should be available from 0700. I had an 0800 meeting in Ballybofey so had to miss breakfast.

The villa rose is a bright airy modern spacious hotel. This was my 5th or 6th visit to the villa rose which would be my first choice hotel when in Donegal. Staff are very friendly and polite. The forge bar is very comfortable and usually busy with a friendly atmosphere. During our stay there was a large wedding taking place and although I did not know the bride and groom I thoroughly enjoyed their wedding and the weekend.

Absolutely brilliant stay at the villa rose hotel, staff could not do any more to help us out, was very accomodating throughout our stay. The rooms were absolutely beautiful, we stayed in the orginal end of the hotel and they were first class.
The en suite was a little bit dated however everything was clean.

The Hotel is very central. The room was great with a massive, comfortable bed, had evening meal and breakfast in hotel which were very good.
The only thing I could fault was that on the morning of our departure my wife and I were both getting dressed and one of the cleaners opened our door and we hadnt put the sign on the door to clean.

Staff were very friendly and hotel was lovely. Very comfortable. Food was also very good.
It was a little bit cold at times in the restaurant and bar. However, it was early December and very cold outside.

On Sunday night we were disappointed at the long time we waited between courses. Not only that we were asked had we booked, then told to wait outside the restaurant and given the Menu. I did not like that. We were not out of the diner until 10.20 P.M. (nOT good enough) The menu itself was O.K. I don't think I'll be back.

Spotless clean, well-equipped room with nice features like complimentary water bottles, a WiFi cable and full bath. Residents Dinner upgrade can be a great deal. A small, but very nice and relaxing Spa area will help you enjoying a good variety of Spa treatments by friendly and caring staff.
The quality of food provided can be uneven sometimes, breakfast was average. Due to the location of the Hotel views might not be romantic or pretty but otherwise very accessible for shopping in Ballybofey and surroundings.
